Biography:
Lea Shaver is the Access to Knowledge (A2K) Program Director at the
Information Society Project. Her current research interests include
developing a cross-national A2K Index and advancing A2K within the
international human rights framework. Prior to joining ISP, Lea
interned at the United Nations Development Programme in Honduras, the
Center for Reproductive Rights' International Program, and the chambers
of U.S. District Judge David F. Hamilton. Most recently she conducted
research on socio-economic rights in South Africa as a Fulbright
Scholar. Lea holds bachelor's and master's degrees in the social
sciences from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Yale Law
School.
